Eugenie Scott, trained as a physical anthropologist, has been executive director of the National Center for Science Education since 1987. The National Center for Science Education is the leading full-time organization dedicated to opposing creationism in all its forms, most recently in the incarnation of intelligent design theory. Scott works tirelessly for the cause; speaking nonstop on campuses and in the media, she writes many occasional pieces, and now we have from her a fulllength book: Evolution vs. Creationism: An Introduction.
